🥫 How to Keep Tuna Pasta Salad Creamy, Not Dry

Pasta keeps absorbing dressing as it sits, so make about 25% more dressing than you need and stir the extra in right before eating. Rinse cooked pasta under cold water to stop it from going mushy. Drain the tuna really well, then flake it with a fork so it mixes in evenly. Use tuna in water for the most protein per calorie, or tuna in olive oil for richer, no-mayo salads.

🍱 Meal Prep and Storage

Store tuna pasta salad in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. Keep crunchy toppings, avocado and fresh herbs separate until the day you eat it. Don’t freeze it, since mayo and yogurt dressings separate when thawed. Pack it with an ice pack if it’s going to sit in a bag for a few hours.
